Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a travel nurse RN Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.

• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing / Post-Acute Care
Location: (50-mile radius rule applies)
Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend | No self or block scheduling
Orientation: 2 shifts
Locals: Not accepted (must live 50+ miles away)
Travel Experience: No first-time travelers

Unit Details:

• 24 private-bed skilled unit
• Short-term patients only (no long-term care)
• EMR: PointClickCare / Allscripts-Sunrise
• Staffing Ratios: 1 RN/LPN : 12 patients | 1 CNA : 12 patients

Typical Diagnoses:
Sepsis, femur fracture, NSTEMI, CKD, CHF, UTI — most patients receiving IV antibiotics or therapy to regain strength for discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Med pass, wound care, Foley/catheter care
• PEG feedings, ostomy, and trach care
• RNs handle IVs, PICC lines, mediports, central lines, IV antibiotics, and fluids
• No telemetry or titratable drips

Team & Support:

• DON: Darla Kuri | Manager: Wende Lightner | Clinical Coordinator: Ashley Conway
• 24/7 physician on-call availability
• On-site team includes PT, OT, ST, case management, social work, dieticians, pharmacy, and more

Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license
• Certifications: BLS/CPR (required before start)
• COVID Vaccine: Not required (N95 used for precautions)
• Must disclose any license issues at submission
• Submit copy of valid driver’s license

Additional Info:

• No on-call or standby
• Travelers float before core staff
• Scrubs: RNs/LPNs – navy blue | CNAs – gray pants, any print top
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
