About the Role: We're looking for a passionate and experienced UX Writer to craft clear, concise, and human-centered content that elevates our digital products. You'll be a key player in shaping the customer experience across various touchpoints, from website pages and applications to emails, notifications, and alerts. Your expertise in microcopy, user interface text, and collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to our success. This remote role is currently open to candidates residing in (CA, OR, CO, TX, OH, IL, MO) and is for a Fintech client. 15 mo. contract - temp to perm. Requirements What You'll Do: Develop engaging and user-friendly microcopy that blends seamlessly across our digital products, applying our existing style, brand, and tone guidelines Collaborate with multi-disciplinary product designers to present compelling imagery and language that helps customers complete tasks through engaging narratives Create content every step of the way – from early ideation to digital delivery, including content value propositions, content design deliverables, and final copy for comprehensive specifications, prototypes, and content management systems Digest content, design, and business requirements quickly and use them to guide your work Willingly take on the challenge of writing and revising until all stakeholders are satisfied Work on a few projects at once, manage your time, keep up with evolving details, and meet or manage stakeholders’ expectations Engage effectively with people across the bank, partnering with a diverse set of project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and business partners Accept feedback from a diverse group of business, delivery, tech, accessibility, and control partners while courteously defending your word choices and content approach What You'll Bring (Required Skills): 5+ years of experience as a UX Writer, Content Strategist, Content Designer, or Copywriter A record of working with cross-functional product development, content, and design teams to ship customer-facing digital products Experience writing and shaping many different kinds of content across system, user, e-commerce, and transactional experiences, including copy for apps, responsive web, and websites A working knowledge of the AP Style Guide and WCAG 2.2 standards with a keen eye for typos The ability to contribute to and follow editorial and tone standards A portfolio of work samples that you’re proud to share A solid understanding of human-centered design and rapid ideation processes (e.g., Agile, Lean UX) Experience using SEO guidelines as well as quantitative and qualitative data to inform and inspire content choices A working knowledge of common content management systems Proofreading or editing experience What Will Set You Apart (Desired Skills): Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, and InVision. Deep understanding of the nuances between long-form and short-form copy for various platforms (e.g., website pages vs. mobile apps). Familiarity with AI and its applications, particularly in content creation. Experience writing and managing content for Conversational UI and Voice UI systems. Financial services industry experience. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Content Management Systems (CMS), and design systems. Who You Are: A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative. Salary Description: $85,000 - $110,000 is the salary range for this position. There is flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications. This represents only a portion of the overall package.
