\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement
\n• Option for 4x12 hour shifts available
\n• Float to like units as needed
\n• Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed
\n• Must work at least 1 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day
\n• Patient ratio of 1:6 for adults and geriatric population
\n• 30-bed unit serving regular medical surgical patients
\n• 30-minute lunch break required with no skipped meals policy
\n• Must adhere to strict call-in policy
\n• Required certifications: BLS via AHA, Fit Test required, NIH preferred
\n• Alabama nursing license required
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• Level II Trauma experience and travel experience preferred
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Skills include: IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, blood product administration, colostomy care, feeding tube management, heparin and insulin administration, PCA management, PICC line management, surgical drains
\n• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
\n• Orientation modules completed during initial orientation period
\n• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
\n• Local candidates considered within 60-mile radius
