Prime Physicians is a leading healthcare consulting and staffing company specializing in providing high-quality healthcare professionals to facilities across multiple federal agencies (HHS, IHS, VA, DHA). We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Physician Recruiter with expertise in both locum tenens and permanent placements to join our dynamic team. This role is remote, offering flexibility while providing the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. MUST HAVE 10+ YEARS of PHYSICIAN recruiting experience in a staffing company (Not hospital / health system based recruiters).

Job Overview:

The Senior Physician Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing physicians and APPs in locum and permanent positions across various healthcare settings. This position emphasizes performance-based compensation, with a average base salary and significant contingency or bonus payments tied to placements and or gross margin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit physicians and APPs for both locum tenens and permanent roles through various channels, including job boards, networking, and referrals.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and placement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities to ensure a strong network for future placements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to match qualified candidates with client needs.
  • Maintain and update a database of physician candidates and track recruitment metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in physician recruitment, with a proven track record of success in locum and permanent placements.
  • Experience working for healthcare staffing companies is a MUST.
  • Must have placed a minimum of 200 physicians in total, with an average of 25 physicians per year.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and the needs of healthcare facilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting placement targets.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Compensation:

  • Average base salary with a performance-based compensation structure.
  • Contingency or bonus payments tied to successful physician placements and or gross margin.
