Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD) Solutions Architecture & Engineering Intern, GMS

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Internship Summary:

We're looking for a motivated Summer Technical Intern to support our Zoetis Tech & Digital GMS Enterprise team with hands-on engineering tasks supporting GMS Digital Transformation. Supporting the existing global team, you will partner and learn more about our strategy to deliver 'connected site' and assist to advance the program. Assistance to help create clear architecture diagrams, contribute to data integration work, assist with technical design, and build Python solutions that support real projects.

What You'll Do

Internship Job Duties:

• Create and maintain system and data flow diagrams (e.g., draw.io, Visio)
• Assist with data integration tasks including APIs, files, and databases
• Contribute to technical design: draft specs, document decisions, and review solutions
• Develop and maintain Python scripts, utilities, and small services
• Help test, troubleshoot, and document features and pipelines
• Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and product to refine requirements

Internship Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/Information Systems, or related field
• Comfortable with Python fundamentals (functions, modules, virtual environments)
• Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and Git
• Ability to create clear architecture/sequence/data flow diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $16.00 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois (Chicago area), Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington (Seattle area):

Student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $17.00 per hour

Student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $24.20 per hour

Student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $36.40 per hour

Student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $40.30 per hour
