• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
\n \n
• Hours Per Week: 50 + hours per week
\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $.72 per Mile with 2300 Miles per Week
\n \n
• Solo Stops Pay: $36.05 per Stop with 8 average Stops per Week
\n \n
• Per Diem Pay: $51.50 per night
\n \n
• Drop and Hook Pay: $15.45 per Drop/Hook
\n \n
• Paid Training
\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Saturday
\n \n
• Start Time: 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM Dispatch

• Deliver SOLO To: All States East of Texas to Nebraska
\n \n
• Route: Regional
\n \n
• Tractor Type: Sleeper with Inverters OR 26' Heavy Duty Box Truck
\n \n
• Trailer Type: Reefer, Flatbed  28’, 36', 53’
\n \n
• Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck
\n \n
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
\n \n
• Freight: Touch – Food- Restaurants & Stores
\n \n
• Endorsements: Doubles & TWIC Preferred- Not Required to Start
\n \n\n

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

\n \n\n

\n
• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
