Pride Health is seeking a  Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician for a Level I Trauma Center in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidate will perform complex laboratory testing, ensure accurate results, and support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests in areas including hematology, chemistry, transfusion services, microbiology, virology, flow cytometry, and apheresis.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of test results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow established laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Document and communicate test results effectively with healthcare teams.
• Demonstrate professional standards of excellence including communication, teamwork, ownership, safety, and respect.

 

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Physical ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• ASCP Certification.
• EMR System Used: Cerner.

Job Type: 12 Weeks contact
Schedule: 2:30pm - 11:00pm Thursday-Monday/40 hrs/week
Pay Range: $58-$62/ Hour
