Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with recent biopsy, ultrasound, and trauma experience for a 13-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a setting covering mammography, ultrasound, and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
• 13-week contract
• Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience required in the last 2 years
• Performs breast imaging including mammograms, ultrasounds, and stereotactic-guided biopsies
• Assists in technical orientation and instructs cross-trained Radiologic Technologists in complex procedures
• Experience in trauma settings required
• Must maintain active credentials for the duration of the assignment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical mammography experience
• Recent experience performing biopsies and ultrasound
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration and ARRT certification in Mammography
• NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Maintains a second Mammography registry by annually accruing five ECE's in Mammography Education per MQSA standards
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 75 miles from the facility
