ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Garden City, Kansas.

\nRN - ER Float Pool
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
\n• Float within Zone 4 (60-mile radius from Garden City, KS) with no home base facility
\n• Must be willing to travel between Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital (Ulysses), St. Catherine-Dodge City, and St. Catherine-Garden City
\n• Responsible for obtaining housing that makes floating throughout the full 60-mile zone feasible
\n• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:4-5 based on acuity
\n• Treat 6-49 patients per day depending on location
\n• Handle common diagnoses including abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension
\n• Work with standard ER medications and drips
\n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips (no monitor tech available)
\n• Will be trained to perform Point of Care lab testing
\n• Charge nurses take patient assignments
\n• RT available 24/7 for support
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
\n• Navy blue scrub color required
\n• 2-3 days unit-specific orientation required
\n• Must complete week of orientation in-state
\n• Epic EMR system used for charting
\n• Every other holiday requirement
