DIRECT HIRE

Tool & Die Maker, 1st shift hours, immediate hiring need.

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing tools and dies used in the manufacturing process. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure that the tools and dies meet the required specifications.

The hired Tool and Die Maker will work with high level Siemens NX CAD and CAM system to build molds for wax injection.

Duties will include CAM programming and machining aluminum molds ranging in size from 6” square to 40” square.

Knowledge and experience of sound machining practices will be utilized to achieve accurate and functional machined mold components.

Knowledge of Lost Wax Molding a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Construct and repair tools and dies according to blueprints and specifications.

2. Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.

3. Inspect finished tools and dies to ensure they meet quality standards.

4. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to solve tooling issues.

5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

6. Troubleshoot and repair tooling problems to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker.

- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and machine tools.

- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
