Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable Sterile Processing Technician with a strong background in reprocessing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and management of surgical instruments and equipment. This role is essential in maintaining safety standards and preventing infections in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities - Perform reprocessing of surgical instruments following established protocols.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance of sterilization equipment.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety regulations.
- Document and report any discrepancies in reprocessing procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing.
- Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required; certification in Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) is a plus.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
