As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

As a Software Engineer Lead you will be working with various technology teams to build, configure and test new systems, comparing and configuring servers - troubleshoot the environment while setting it up, communicating and collaborating with various business teams

Responsibilities:
•\tLeads and participates in the monitoring, maintenance, support and modernization of systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
•\tPerforms maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades. Coordinates with delivery teams to ensure changes are implemented in order to maintain a stable production environment.
•\tIncident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Analyze and identify root cause of incidents. Gathers information and reports out on design, reliability, maintenance problems and bugs.
•\tMonitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends. Implements methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for monitoring software reliability and resolving incidents.
•\tEducates and coaches more junior staff to ensures in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications.
•\tLeads application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.

Job Description

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $158,700.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
