Job Description
Mariscos Cancun Mexican Seafood & Grill, a vibrant and authentic Mexican seafood restaurant located in Manassas, VA, is seeking a talented Social Media Marketer and Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content and managing our social media presence, as well as providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. This is a part-time position with an opportunity to be full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews on social media platforms in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with management to develop promotional campaigns and events, and create related social media content.
Administrative Assistant:
Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and organizing meetings.
Assist with customer inquiries, reservations, and event bookings.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and vendor information.
Coordinate and support marketing initiatives, such as creating promotional materials and managing email campaigns.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media marketing, content creation, and administrative support.
Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices for business promotion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
Passion for food, hospitality, and customer service.
