Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $80k$85k Base Salary + Bonus

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure the successful completion of roofing projects in the Houston region. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for managing crews, maintaining safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial roofing experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day field operations across multiple commercial roofing projects.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with local regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the field and project management teams.
• Lead, train, and mentor roofing crews to achieve high performance and productivity.
• Resolve on-site issues, troubleshoot problems, and escalate as needed.
• Monitor job progress, costs, and productivity to support budgetary goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in roofing, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified, Metal, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage crews, schedules, and multiple job sites.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to read building plans

Preferred:

• OSHA certification or other formal safety training.
• Experience with project management software or construction technology tools.
