Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00
Department Details The Broadway PACU is a 19 bay unit that provides intense observation and care to patients who have undergone procedures that require anesthesia. Patients cared for in the PACU range from infant to geriatric in population. The specialties we serve include both complex inpatient cases and routine outpatient surgery such as: general surgery, bariatric, ENT, GYN, urology, oncology, RMCC, colorectal, interventional radiology and MRI.
Schedule: Combination of 8 and 12 hour weekday shifts typically between hours of 7:30am-8:00pm
Call: Call rotation to include 3 weeknights in 6 week schedule and one weekend of call in 8 weeks.

Responsibilities * Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
* Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
* Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
* Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise
Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
