Position Summary:

Women Services RN demonstrates clinical competence and efficiency in care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn, as defined in hospital and departmental policies, professional practice, standards/guidelines , and the Law/rules regulating the practice of Nursing (AZ board of nursing website @

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate's Degree in nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have an active RN License from Arizona or a compact license.
• Must have BLS or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must have ACLS or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must have NRP at time of hire.
• Must obtain Basic Fetal Monitoring within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire.
• STABLE preferred.
