Reporting to the Distribution Production Manager, the Print Production Operator will play a vital role in the packaging production. The Print Production Operator should have strong attention to detail, an ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain productivity through repetitive tasks. They should steadily strive to fulfill the varying daily needs of the print room ensuring consistent execution of label printing. Additional components to the role include assistance with preflight of in-house and outsourced packaging files and print materials, requiring a working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and fundamentals of commercial printing (ie CMYK). And most importantly, a positive, can-do attitude with an appetite to print. Responsibilities:Operating large format and label printers facilitating in-house printing, with end-to-end execution in a fast-paced workflow.Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation, and routine maintenance.Own quality control for print production, including verifying detailed print quality and 100% label accuracy.Review packaging for compliance with state regulations, acting as the final sign-off on all in-house label printing.Ability to stay on track and productive, acting autonomously when the Print Production Manager is not on-site. Additional admin tasks as assigned, including shipping and receiving marketing assets.Assisting the packaging department as needed and during any downtime.Opportunities for contributing to creative design projects.About You: You are a Team Player. Design programs such as Canva are a bonus.Basic familiarity with Google Sheets & Docs. Cannabis industry experience is preferred, but not required. Who youll work with:Reporting to the Distribution Production Manager, this role will work with compliance teams across four states (CA, CO, NJ, and NY) to ensure packaging accuracy for multiple markets. This role will work collaboratively across a variety of functions: Fulfillment Manager, Production, Brand Marketing, and Brand Ambassadors to ensure the deployment of marketing assets across multiple states.
