\n Pay: $23.00 - $25.00/hr. (Depending on experience). Temp to Hire.
\n
\n Available Shifts: \n

\n\t
• A Shift: 5am to 1:30pm or 9am to 5:30pm, Mon-Fri.\n\t
• Training Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm, Mon-Fri (for the first 4-6 weeks).\n

\n
\n Summary: As an Optical Fabricator, you’ll support the manufacturing of custom lens assemblies and precision optical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in glass fabrication, strong attention to detail, and experience using technical tools in a production environment.
\n
\n Tasks and Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t
• Perform core optical fabrication tasks: coring, sawing, curve generation, blocking, grinding, polishing, and beveling\n\t
• Operate machinery and hand tools with high precision\n\t
• Follow layout and scheduling for generation, blocking, and grinding areas\n\t
• Inspect components using micrometers and sensitive interferometers\n\t
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, machines, and work area\n\t
• Follow all Clean Room Protocols, safety guidelines, and company procedures\n\t
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and clean room garments as required\n\t
• Document work and support continuous improvement initiatives\n\t
• Identify and escalate any production or quality issues\n

• Have a High School Diploma or GED (Required)\n\t
• Have 2+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing (Preferred)\n\t
• Are comfortable working with high-speed cutting wheels and machinery\n\t
• Can work in noisy environments and wear cleanroom attire when needed\n\t
• Have familiarity with Baan ERP systems and barcoding (a plus)\n\t
• Are detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity and visual inspection skills\n
