Night Auditor

For nearly 80 years, Sandy Cove Ministries has been a place where millions of people have connected with God and each other.

We offer year-round signature programs designed to uplift and strengthen individuals and families, including summer vacation packages and a day camp for kids. We also contract with ministries and organizations, helping them create their own impactful retreats and events on our property.

All of this happens at our breathtaking location on the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay in North East, Maryland. With 150 guest rooms in our lodge and 220 beautiful acres, we offer guests authentic hospitality and the rest and renewal they crave.

Sandy Cove Ministries is seeking a full time Night Auditor to join our team. Primary responsibilities for this position include processing and verifying financial transactions, providing excellent customer service and support, and ensuring safety of guest, and completing overnight audit procedures.

Role Qualifications:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• High school diploma
• Customer service experience (At least 1 year)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of Office 360

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Complete daily tasks on the "Audit Responsibilities Checklist" which include balancing all cash, credit card, check, and gift certificates payments, processing "end of day" reports, and ensure accuracy/completeness of inventory.
• Provide overnight customer service to guests and fulfill guests' requests
• Address guest concerns and ensure their safety and security
• Utilize a property management system to verify and reconcile check in/check outs and payments
• Prepare/verify guest packets and key cards for use and distribution
• Prepare for morning activities including check outs, coffee for guest, etc.
• Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned

Essential skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to help others
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft 360
• Ability to learn and work in multiple systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong proofreading skills

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand for long periods of time, sit, walk, stay up during late night/early morning hours, bend, and lift up to 25lbs.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the environment will have minimal noise.

Compensation: Minimum: $15.00/hr. | Maximum $18.00/hr. Pay Grade 11
