Pay Range: $38.00 – $45.00 per flat rate hour (depending on experience and certifications)

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mercedes-Benz Automotive Technician to join a premier OEM dealership service team. This role is ideal for technicians with strong diagnostic capabilities and a passion for working on luxury vehicles. You’ll be responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, and maintenance services according to Mercedes-Benz factory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Diagnosis

  • Conduct detailed inspections and use factory diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and high-voltage system malfunctions
  • Diagnose drivability issues, engine codes, and complex system faults on Mercedes-Benz vehicles

Repair & Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance and advanced mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, drivetrain, and electrical systems
  • Ensure all work is completed according to OEM specifications and quality standards

Documentation & Reporting

  • Accurately document findings, work performed, and parts used on repair orders and digital systems
  • Maintain consistent communication with service advisors and the parts department

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct road tests and final inspections to confirm successful repair and ensure safety and performance standards are met

Safety & Shop Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and dealership protocols
  • Participate in manufacturer-required safety and product training

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an automotive technician
  • OEM dealership experience required – Mercedes-Benz experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of brand-specific diagnostic tools, OEM software platforms, and advanced workshop systems
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, repair databases, and manufacturer software
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, repair manuals, and service bulletins
  • ASE certifications highly desirable
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and work with heavy equipment as needed
  • High attention to detail, strong communication, and team collaboration skills
