Position: Medical Receptionist
Location: Wesley Chapel, FL (Windguard Circle area)
Schedule: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
Full days: Monday & Friday
Half to full day: Wednesday (flexible depending on staff needs)
Additional hours may be needed occasionally
Pay Rate: $15–$17/hour (based on experience)
Candidates with Medical Assistant experience may qualify for higher pay and may be considered for a dual role (Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist).
About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join a growing pediatric medical practice. The ideal candidate will bring prior medical office experience , strong communication skills, and proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) . Experience with Intergy EMR is a plus.

Daily Responsibilities
Answer phones and assist patients with requests
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
Communicate with office staff to accommodate patients in the schedule
Verify insurance via online portal or phone
Prep patient charts and assist patients with portal access
Process referral authorizations and manage medical records
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances
Support patient flow with physicians
Manage scanning, faxes, and emails (daily checks at 10 AM & 2 PM)
Complete daily updates and monthly reporting
Skills & Requirements
Medical office experience required (customer service alone is not enough)
Proficiency with EMR systems (speedy & accurate data entry required)
Strong customer service focus and communication skills (phone & in-person)
Team-oriented, adaptable to change, and reliable
Flexible with scheduling (extended hours in summer months)
Kid-friendly and able to maintain a welcoming environment
Bilingual is a plus, but not required
