Position Title: Industrial Painter

Wage: $20/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2pm-10pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Industrial Painter for a company in Waterloo, IA. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare surfaces: clean, wash, strip, and sand surfaces to prepare them for painting
- Apply paint: use spray equipment
- Ensure quality: ensure the paint job meets company standards and extends the life of the structure
- Clean and maintain painting and coating equipment, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Follow safety regulations: conform to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
- Work in a team environment: work with others to reach a common goal

Industrial Painter Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of industrial painting experience
- Ability to work overtime
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and mechanical blueprints
- Attentive to detail
