Why Join Us?

At Action Behavior Centers, we live by our core values: learning, caring, fun, teamwork, and excellence. We nurture a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment where creativity flourishes and both personal and professional development is encouraged.

We believe in supporting the potential of every individual we serve. In our 1:1 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) setting, you will work directly with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. With top-tier supervision, continuous training, and a passionate team, you will make a significant impact every day!

What You'll Do as a Behavioral Health Aide

  • Utilize the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their fullest potential by following treatment plans, implementing strategies, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and incorporating supervisor feedback.
  • Support the development of children through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to optimize treatment, ensure safety, and enhance the overall work experience.
  • Engage with children through various forms of play, movement, and imitation-this could be anything from dancing and singing to reading or playing with toys, creating a joyful atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with stakeholders to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for individual needs.

Job Requirements

  • Possess the physical ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs in a fast-paced environment, bend, squat, and run to stay engaged with young children while maintaining safety.
  • Keep a tidy, organized therapy environment that promotes a stimulating and enjoyable experience for the children.
  • Ability to multitask effectively by balancing multiple actions and decisions while assessing prioritization and safety for everyone involved.
  • Work cohesively with teams throughout the center, neighborhood, and region, which may include some travel between nearby centers.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Minimum age of 18 years and a High School diploma or GED is required.

Complete the RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands-on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and achieving a passing score.
