Job Summary:

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of drivers, vehicles, and deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, or service calls based on customer needs and company policies.
• Monitor routes and adjust schedules to accommodate delays or changes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including times, routes, and service details.
• Use dispatch software and GPS systems to track and optimize routes.
• Handle emergency situations and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or transportation training preferred.
• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
