Join the team at Sands Chevrolet Glendale as a Body Shop Finish Buffer, where you will play a key role in restoring vehicles to their showroom condition by expertly buffing and finishing painted surfaces. This position requires keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that meet our company standards and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities

• Buff and polish vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections such as scratches, swirl marks, and paint over-spray..
• Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups as necessary to achieve a flawless finish
• Operate and maintain polishing equipment and materials safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with body shop technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards
• Follow all company policies and adhere to safety protocols at all times
• Wet sanding, Swirl removal, wax application and paint correction

Requirements

• Previous experience as a buffer or finisher in an automotive body shop environment preferred ( 2 years minimum required)
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship
• Ability to stand, bend, and maneuver to buff vehicles for extended periods
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Familiarity with polishing compounds, machines, and safety equipment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
